Northerners Begs GEJ to return, renders apology for voting Buhari

It was an overwhelming scene as Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the former President of Nigeria visited the Seat of the Caliphate; Sokoto State, Nigeria. He was received by a huge crowd who took to the streets, welcoming the former president and recognising him as their 'Hero'. From what it seems, they are all regretting voting for the current government and would do anything possible to make GEJ understand that.

The signs they put up read 'Come Back Baba Jonathan' amongst many other signs, one of the leaders of the 'welcome crowd' was asked why they did this and he said it was done to apologise to the former president for their ignorant act in the 2015 presidential elections.

The former President was received by the Governor of the state and later made a trip to the Sultan's palace.
