Sad Loss For Football Fans Around The World as Cheick Tiote Dies in China



Ivorian International footballer and former Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has died on the 5th of June, 2017 after suffering a heart attack. He joined the Chinese League One side Beijing Enterprises in January having spent seven years at St James’ Park. The 30-year-old was reported to have collapsed at the training ground on Monday and been taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Footballers and coaches around the world have taken to their social media pages to offer their condolences to the late footballer's family, this is a great loss to football fans especially at a time when most leagues around the world just concluded their seasons and fans have been rejoicing with their favourite clubs who possibly won a trophy or two.
